


I remember seeing modded 883 sportsters that were converted to flat trackers when i was a kid, while it is humbling to see Harley to produce the models that actually looked and went good again - i still think this bike is to fat and heavy for market just yet.
However with Eric Buell now making his bikes bigger and uglier - i believe that if it wasn't for the Porsche inspired VROD we would see a demise of the big American icon all together.
I believe that the new XR1200R is a step in the right place for Harley - all we need is one more step - make this bike lighter.....then we will have a competing bike for the impressive Triumph Thruxton.
