Bow down to a new god!

Well its seems that Lotus have cracked the Enigma code. They have a more fuel efficient 2 stroke.
The Omnivore engine can run on pretty much anything combustible. And is clean burning.
Fantastic - god bless the 2 stroke gods

Scary

Not quite the number of the beast though

Good old Mitre10 days......

When you could go to the paint counter and get your paint mixed.
I missed that mixing machine of death. How it threw the paint can like a rag doll.
Good times

Some classic brits with new paint

Old BSA's set up as street fighters. And an old Triumph 3TA fully restored. Check out the price tag for the 3TA......might be worth restoring your one aye dad!
Try and ignore the blonde on the bsa...... its the only image i could get of the bike. I know she is covering that Speed Triple rear seat cowl.....but I'm she will get off when she realises there is only enough seat for 1.

Opel Ampera

http://www.carbodydesign.com/archive/2009/03/21-opel-ampera-concept/

This basically the Opel/Vauxhall version of the GM Volt concept due to be released worldwide next year.

I like the design - seems alot more smother than the Volt is. And the interior has just the right amount of spice. Red on black is a classic i hope never dies.

You have to laugh a bit about the naming though - since tesla has stolen that name we have the GM Volt, Caddy Volta, Opel Ampera....... what next the
Holden Watt?
Saab Henry....

There's Something in the Sea!!!!!!!

http://www.somethinginthesea.com/

It seems it is only a matter of months until we are dealing with Splicers, Little Sisters, Big Daddy's, Big Sisters? Plasmids.......

Seems it is coming to our shores now.
The pieces fit together. Does Rapture still exist?
Bioshock 2 is coming.

Would you kindly join me Mr Bubbles?

The Keeper of That Tapping Pen

I just loved this comment about managing meetings. I feel it is so true.
It is frustrating me currently extending meetings so that people can 'dwell'..........meeting should be like 'bam-bam-bam-ok lets get too it'. I miss managing...

"Q. What’s it like to be in a meeting run by you?

A. I’m not formal and I’m impatient. So I think my team would say that when she starts tapping her pen and the leg starts moving quickly, that it’s time to move on. I’m not good at long, drawn-out kinds of sessions. I want to get to the point and not waste time on something that’s not meaningful for the senior team.

Q. So beware the tapping of the pen.

A. Absolutely. When that starts, you know things are not going well."

Deus Ex Machina

A while ago i called in to visit these guys. See their tricked out cafe racers and flat trackers.
Their cafe is fantastic, and while the food was a little pricey, its tasted great........also who could have complained when you have a view of these fine machines.

Riddle me this, Riddle me that

Sometimes you know the answer, but not the question.
If that is the case - is the answer any good?

Norton Commando 961

Due to be released soon. Should be interesting to see if the brand can make a full comeback like Triumph did.

A test ride can be sort of found here. But it doesn't sound promising.....

You have been officially warned.

Google have just sent me this....

Hi,

We're writing to let you know about the upcoming launch of interest-based advertising, which will require you to review and make any necessary changes to your site's privacy policies. You'll also see some new options on your Account Settings page.

Interest-based advertising will allow advertisers to show ads based on a user's previous interactions with them, such as visits to advertiser website and also to reach users based on their interests (e.g. "sports enthusiast"). To develop interest categories, we will recognize the types of web pages users visit throughout the Google content network. As an example, if they visit a number of sports pages, we will add them to the "sports enthusiast" interest category. To learn more about your associated account settings, please visit the AdSense Help Center at http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?topic=20310.

As a result of this announcement, your privacy policy will now need to reflect the use of interest-based advertising. Please review the information at https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=100557 to ensure that your site's privacy policies are up-to-date, and make any necessary changes by April 8, 2009. Because publisher sites and laws vary across countries, we're unfortunately unable to suggest specific privacy policy language.

For more information about interest-based advertising, you can also visit the Inside AdSense Blog at http://adsense.blogspot.com/2009/03/driving-monetization-with-ads-that.html.

We appreciate your participation and look forward to this upcoming enhancement.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

So since i have no such policy - consider this a warning that the ads you will see here should be relevant to the site........
Ok :)

A bit of a work in progress...

Give a job to a busy person...

There is an old saying.
"Give a job to a busy person, and you can guarantee it will be done asap"

however i think the next line should be:
"Give 20 jobs to a organized busy person, and you lose him by month end"

What do you think?
